1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Carbon Vision ("the App," "our App," or "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Carbon Vision ("we," "us," or "our").

Carbon Vision is a professional 3D printer monitoring and control application that provides direct communication with SDCP-compatible 3D printers over local networks. The App enables users to:
- Monitor real-time printer status, temperatures, and print progress
- Control print jobs including start, pause, resume, and stop functions
- Manage print files and printer settings
- View live video streams from printer cameras
- Access print history and printer diagnostics
2.1 Direct Communication Model
Carbon Vision operates using direct peer-to-peer communication with 3D printers via the SDCP (Smart Device Communication Protocol). The App does not require or use external servers for core functionality, ensuring enhanced privacy and security.
3. User Accounts and Responsibilities
3.1 Device Installation
Carbon Vision does not require user account creation. The App operates locally on your device and connects directly to printers on your network.
3.2 User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Ensuring your device meets the minimum system requirements
- Maintaining the security of your device and network
- Using the App in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Properly operating your 3D printing equipment
- Understanding the capabilities and limitations of your 3D printers
4. Acceptable Use Policy

7.2 3D Printing Risks
Safety Warning
3D printing involves inherent risks including but not limited to:

- Property damage from equipment malfunction
You use Carbon Vision and operate 3D printers at your own risk.
7.3 Compatibility
We do not guarantee compatibility with all 3D printers or network configurations. SDCP protocol support varies by manufacturer and firmware version.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of profits or revenue
- Property damage or personal injury
- Data loss or corruption
- Business interruption
- Failed or damaged prints
- Equipment malfunction or damage
Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to Carbon Vision shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App, if any.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Carbon Vision and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising from:
- Your use of the App
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Your operation of 3D printing equipment
- Any content you create or print using the App
10. Termination

You may stop using Carbon Vision at any time by uninstalling the App from your devices.

10.3 Effect of Termination
